Matrix Hosting – Terms of Service (ToS)

Welcome to Matrix Hosting. By purchasing or using any services provided by Matrix Hosting, including Minecraft Game Servers and Virtual Private Servers (VPS), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Matrix Hosting services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all related policies. If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue use of our services.

2. Service Operator Disclosure

Matrix Hosting is operated as an independent hosting service provider. Payments processed through the official billing system are received under the legal name RONAKBEN SHAH, associated with a valid Indian Permanent Account Number (PAN).All financial transactions, including payments and approved refunds, are processed through the same payment source and legal name.By purchasing or using Matrix Hosting services, customers acknowledge that payments are being made to the above-mentioned legal account holder responsible for operating the Matrix Hosting service.

3. Services Provided

Matrix Hosting provides the following services:
  • Minecraft Game Server Hosting
  • Virtual Private Server (VPS) Hosting
Matrix Hosting reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Customers may not use Matrix Hosting services for unlawful or harmful activities. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
  • Hosting malware, phishing systems, or malicious software
  • Illegal file distribution or copyright infringement
  • Unauthorized network scanning or exploitation
  • Operating services that violate local or international laws
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:
  • Maintaining the security of their account credentials
  • All activity conducted through their account
  • Ensuring their services comply with applicable laws
  • Maintaining backups of their own data
Matrix Hosting is not responsible for damages or data loss resulting from customer negligence.

6. Suspension or Termination

Matrix Hosting reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if:
  • The customer violates the Terms of Service
  • Payments are not completed
  • The service is used in a manner that threatens network stability
  • Illegal or abusive activity is detected
In severe cases, termination may occur without prior notice.

7. Payment Terms

All services must be paid in advance through our official billing system. Failure to pay invoices may result in suspension of services and permanent deletion of server data after the grace period. Matrix Hosting is not responsible for data loss caused by unpaid services.

8. Payment Processing & Legal Entity

All payments made for services provided by Matrix Hosting through our official billing system will be processed and received under the registered legal payment name:
  • Legal Name: RONAKBEN SHAH
  • Jurisdiction: India
  • Identification: Registered with a valid Permanent Account Number (PAN).
Customers acknowledge that payment statements may display the name RONAKBEN SHAH, which represents the legal payment recipient for Matrix Hosting services.Any approved refunds will be issued from the same legal entity and payment source, under the name RONAKBEN SHAH, and will be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction.

9. DDoS Protection Disclaimer

Matrix Hosting may provide network-level DDoS protection where available. However, DDoS mitigation services are provided on a best-effort basis and protection against all attack types, sizes, or vectors cannot be guaranteed.Matrix Hosting shall not be held responsible for downtime, service interruptions, or degraded performance caused by large-scale or sophisticated Distributed Denial of Service attacks.

10. Right to Modify Services or Pricing

Matrix Hosting reserves the right to modify:
  • Service specifications
  • Hardware configurations
  • Service plans
  • Pricing structures
Such modifications may occur when necessary to maintain infrastructure stability, improve service quality, or adapt to operational costs and market conditions. Customers will be notified of significant changes when reasonably possible.

11. Service Availability Statement

Matrix Hosting strives to maintain high levels of uptime, network stability, and infrastructure reliability for all provided services.However, all services are provided on a best-effort basis, and Matrix Hosting does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of any service.Service interruptions or performance issues may occur due to circumstances including but not limited to:
  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Network or hardware failures
  • Data center infrastructure issues
  • Software errors or configuration problems
  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
  • Events beyond the reasonable control of Matrix Hosting
Matrix Hosting will make reasonable efforts to restore services as quickly as possible.

12. Limitation of Liability

Matrix Hosting shall not be liable for data loss, service interruptions, loss of profits or revenue, or issues caused by third-party software or services. All services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

13. Accurate Account Information

Customers must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating and maintaining their Matrix Hosting accounts, including billing details and contact information.Customers are responsible for promptly updating their account information if there are any changes to their email address, billing details, or other relevant contact data.

14. Data Loss & Backup Responsibility

While Matrix Hosting may implement basic infrastructure-level safeguards, customers are solely responsible for maintaining their own backups of all data, configurations, and server files stored on Matrix Hosting services.Matrix Hosting is not liable for data loss arising from hardware failures, software issues, accidental deletion, account suspension, or service termination.

15. Force Majeure

Matrix Hosting shall not be held responsible for delays, failures, or service interruptions resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, acts of government, strikes, civil unrest, or large-scale internet outages.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or the use of Matrix Hosting services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

17. Minecraft / Mojang Trademark Disclaimer

"Minecraft" and all related assets are trademarks or registered trademarks of Mojang Studios, a subsidiary of Microsoft. Matrix Hosting is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

18. Plugin / Mod Responsibility Disclaimer

Customers are fully responsible for any third-party plugins, mods, or custom software installed on their servers. Matrix Hosting is not liable for instability, security issues, performance problems, or data loss caused by third-party modifications.

19. Fair Usage / Resource Abuse Policy

To ensure a stable environment for all customers, Matrix Hosting may monitor resource usage to prevent abusive or excessive consumption that negatively impacts shared infrastructure or other customers.Matrix Hosting reserves the right to temporarily limit, suspend, or recommend plan upgrades for services that consistently exceed fair and reasonable usage thresholds.

20. Policy Updates

Matrix Hosting reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms of Service, policies, or service conditions at any time in order to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, infrastructure, or operational practices.Any updates or changes will become effective immediately upon publication on the official Matrix Hosting website unless otherwise stated.Customers are responsible for reviewing these policies periodically to stay informed about any changes.Continued use of Matrix Hosting services after updated policies have been published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms of Service.If a customer does not agree with any updated terms, they must discontinue use of the services before the next billing cycle or renewal period.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Matrix Hosting. Any informal agreements including Discord messages, support chat conversations, verbal promises, or informal statements do not override or replace these official Terms of Service.

Matrix Hosting – Terms & Conditions

1. Service Availability

Matrix Hosting strives to maintain reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability due to maintenance, hardware issues, network failures, or external service provider outages. Scheduled maintenance will be announced whenever possible.

2. Resource Usage

Customers must use server resources responsibly. Excessive resource consumption that negatively affects other users may result in temporary limitations, suspension, or required service upgrades.

3. Backups

Unless specifically stated in the service plan, Matrix Hosting does not guarantee automated backups. Customers are responsible for maintaining independent backups of their data.

4. Software Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all software installed on their servers including game plugins, server scripts, and operating system configurations. Matrix Hosting is not responsible for vulnerabilities in customer-installed software.

5. Support Services

Support is available through the Matrix Hosting billing ticket system and the official Matrix Hosting Discord server. Typical response times vary based on ticket volume and issue complexity.

Matrix Hosting – Service Level Agreement (SLA)

1. Network Uptime Commitment

Matrix Hosting aims to maintain 99.9% network uptime for all hosting services. Uptime is calculated monthly.

2. Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance may temporarily interrupt services. Maintenance windows do not count toward uptime calculations.

3. SLA Exclusions

Downtime caused by the following does not count toward SLA guarantees: customer misconfiguration, software or plugin errors, DDoS attacks, third-party network failures, natural disasters, or force majeure events.

4. Support Response Time

Typical response times: billing tickets 12–24 hours and technical support 1–24 hours depending on severity.

Matrix Hosting – Refund Policy

1. Minecraft Server Hosting Refunds

Minecraft hosting services are eligible for a refund within 24 hours of the initial purchase if all of the following conditions are met:
  • The refund request is submitted within 24 hours of the initial transaction
  • The customer provides a valid invoice
  • The request includes a valid reason (e.g., technical issues, downtime, or features not working as advertised)
  • This is the customer’s first order with Matrix Hosting
  • The customer has not violated the Terms of Service
  • Refunds do not apply to renewals or recurring payments
Refund requests submitted after 24 hours will not be eligible.

2. VPS Refund Policy

All Virtual Private Server (VPS) services are strictly non-refundable once the service has been provisioned.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, customers must create a support ticket within 24 hours of the transaction and submit the request through the Matrix Hosting billing panel or the Matrix Hosting Discord support server. The ticket must include the invoice number, service purchased, and reason for the refund request.

4. Refund Review Process

The Matrix Hosting billing team will review refund requests within 12–24 hours. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be issued within 5–7 business days, depending on the payment provider.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted if the request is submitted after 24 hours, the customer violated the Terms of Service, the payment relates to renewals or recurring billing, or the service was used for prohibited activities.

Matrix Hosting – Chargeback Policy

1. Chargeback Procedure

Customers must contact Matrix Hosting support before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback. If a customer initiates a chargeback without contacting support first, the associated service will be immediately suspended or terminated, the customer account may be permanently banned, and all services under the account may be removed.

2. Dispute Investigation

Matrix Hosting may provide billing records, IP logs, service usage records, and support ticket history to payment processors. These records may be used to dispute fraudulent chargebacks.

3. Chargeback Abuse

Customers found abusing chargebacks may be permanently banned from Matrix Hosting services.

Matrix Hosting – Privacy Policy

Matrix Hosting respects your privacy and is committed to protecting customer data.

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Billing information
  • Payment details
  • IP address
  • Server usage data
  • Support communications

2. How We Use Information

Information may be used for:
  • Account creation

3. Data Sharing

Matrix Hosting does not sell customer data. Information may be shared with payment processors, infrastructure providers, and legal authorities when required by law.

5. Data Retention

Customer data is retained only as long as necessary for service operation, legal compliance, and fraud prevention.

7. Data Protection Compliance (India)
